Why this matters
Social media is non-negotiable for most businesses, but creating content consistently is exhausting. You know you should post regularly, but between running your business and serving customers, social media falls to the bottom of the list. By the time you sit down to write, the creative well is dry.
AI changes the equation. Instead of creating from scratch, you start with drafts that already sound like you. You edit and approve rather than write from zero. A week of content that used to take two hours now takes ten minutes.
Step 1: Teach the AI your voice
Before generating any posts, spend five minutes giving the AI examples of your best content. Paste 3-5 posts you have written that performed well or that you felt proud of. Tell the AI: "These posts represent my brand voice. Notice the tone, sentence length, and style. Use this voice for everything you write for me." This one-time setup makes every future draft sound authentic.
Step 2: Batch your content themes
Give the AI a list of topics for the week. For example: "Monday — tip about our product, Wednesday — behind-the-scenes, Friday — customer success story." Add any specific details or angles you want to hit. The AI will generate all the drafts at once, giving you a full week of content in one sitting.
Step 3: Edit, schedule, and post
Review each draft. Swap in real customer names or specific details the AI could not know. Adjust anything that feels off. Then load them into your scheduling tool and you are done for the week. The whole process — from prompting to scheduling — should take under 15 minutes.
What to try next
Try asking the AI to repurpose your content across platforms. A LinkedIn post can become a tweet thread, an Instagram caption, and an email newsletter blurb — all in the same session.
